Project Controller
Lymington Precision Engineers have an immediate vacancy for a project controller to join our established and experienced staff.
Duties to include:
- Organising the supply of precision engineering components and assemblies to meet stringent delivery requirements.
- Basic process planning.
- Prepare, implement and adhere to manufacturing program time scales.
- Purchasing and progressing raw material and components.
- Purchasing and progressing outside processes.
- Progressing in-house manufacture.
Requirements of the Role
This Role entails the Production Control of a range of precision engineering components and assemblies, both small batch and scheduled requirements, from receipt of the Customer's Purchase Order through to Final Despatch.
Relevant engineering experience is important, preferably including a recognised apprenticeship and formal engineering qualifications.
The ability to read component and assembly drawings is essential with the capability of effectively discussing these requirements with both customers and suppliers.
Application of the Company's computerised Manufacturing and Production Control system, for which for full training will be provided, is essential together with good communication skills and a total commitment to achieve customer requirements.
Hours
08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:30 to 17:00 on Friday, with an hour's lunch break.
