Quality Engineer

Applications are required for this senior position to strengthen our existing Quality Team.

Duties to include:

  • Conduct supplier surveillance audits and performance monitoring.
  • Establish internal & external root cause corrective action investigations.
  • Internal performance monitoring.
  • Increase SPC utilisation.
  • Control of the approved supplier database.
  • Supplier development.

Skills required:

Based upon comprehensive practical training and experience, the successful candidate must posses the following:

  • A full understanding of machined component manufacture.
  • A full understanding of the 9001:2000 Quality Management standard.
  • Knowledge of special process auditing would be advantageous.
  • The ability to react to varied situations with determination to ensure the customer is fully supported.

Hours

08:00 to 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to 17:00 Friday, with a break of one hour for lunch.
